Job Descriptions
Warehouse Operations & Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily warehouse activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Implement and maintain best practices for inventory management, receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Monitor warehouse layout and space utilization to optimize efficiency.
Inventory & Logistics Control:
- Ensure accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Work with logistics providers to optimize transportation costs and delivery schedules.
Team Leadership & Safety Compliance:
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to enhance productivity and teamwork.
- Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective measures as needed.
Process Improvement & Reporting:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
- Maintain accurate reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, order accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with management to set performance goals and monitor key metrics.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or inventory control.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Personal Attributes:
- Forklift certification or experience in equipment handling.
- Experience in managing automated warehouse systems.
