• Merchandising Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive merchandising strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals and brand identity.

• Product Assortment Planning:

  • Plan and curate the product assortment, ensuring it meets customer demands and aligns with seasonal and fashion trends.

• Sourcing:

  • Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers, both domestic and international, to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and finished products.

• Inventory Management:

  • Manage inventory levels, monitor stock turnover rates, and implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover while minimizing overstock or understock situations.

• Demand Forecasting:

  • Utilize sales data, historical trends, and market insights to accurately forecast demand, ensuring products are available when and where customers want them.

• Pricing Strategy:

  • Collaborate with pricing analysts to develop and implement effective pricing strategies that maximize profit margins and remain competitive in the market.

• Supplier Relationships:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely deliveries, quality control, and favorable terms.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with design, production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment in product development, marketing campaigns, and sales strategies.

• Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the merchandising budget, tracking expenses and revenue to ensure profitability.

• Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor merchandising team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

• Performance Analysis:

  • Analyze sales data, key performance indicators (KPIs), and customer feedback to assess the success of merchandising strategies and make necessary adjustments.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, Fashion, or a related field (preferred).

• Experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in the merchandising field or fashion business.
  • Strong understanding of fashion trends, market dynamics, and consumer behavior.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and inventory management.
