Job Descriptions

• Product Development & Collaboration:

  • Provide guidance on product details (apparel and related products), including pattern-making techniques, size specifications, sewing techniques, fabric and material selection, and quality control from sample development to production.
  • Collaborate with various brand departments, such as Designers, Merchandisers, QC, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth product development and production processes.

• Sewing Techniques & Garment Construction:

  • Recommend appropriate sewing techniques and garment construction methods based on fabric type and design to achieve high-quality products as specified.
  • Define detailed size specifications for men’s, women’s, and kid’s apparel.

• Fabric & Material Management:

  • Assess fabric and material consumption for each garment style.
  • Provide recommendations during the sample fitting process and ensure overall quality and finishing.

• Communication with Manufacturers & Troubleshooting

  • Communicate with manufacturers to explain pattern-making techniques, size specifications, sewing methods, material selection, and other relevant details.
  • Advise relevant brand departments on troubleshooting product development or production issues, analyzing and identifying solutions.

• Process Improvement & Efficiency

  • Propose and develop new techniques to improve work efficiency.

Qualification

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Fashion, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in garment and textile-related work.
  • Strong knowledge of men’s, women’s, and kid’s apparel styles.
  • In-depth understanding of garment construction, size specifications, and related products.
  • Solid knowledge of materials used in apparel, such as fabrics and various accessories.
  • Experience working with related products, such as bags, shoes, and accessories, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in computer programs related to garment design and production is an advantage.
