Job Descriptions
• Merchandise Planning & Strategy:
- Analyze, plan, forecast, and evaluate key data to support and implement profitable merchandise strategies.
- Develop seasonal merchandise plans with the team to maximize opportunities and minimize risk.
- Forecast and validate projections to ensure sales, gross margin, and inventory objectives are met.
• Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory flow of goods to support sales and product turnover for assigned product categories.
- Analyze and maintain individual store inventory levels to maximize sales and profits.
- Work with the inventory team to ensure a healthy balance of inventory.
- Maintain in-season product plans and forecasts, collaborating with the team to execute top-down and bottom-up SKU and style roles.
• Collaboration & Supplier Management:
- Collaborate with the management team to develop yearly sales, margin, and product turn plans.
- Recommend divisional and departmental sales growth strategies to drive business success.
- Research and identify new suppliers for specific products, including clothing, shoes, and accessories.
- Coordinate with designers, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure the production and delivery of new products are completed on schedule.
Qualifications
• Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
